Harry Bell BA(Hons) - Director
Harry has over 20 years experience of utilising GIS Systems – main platforms being Mapinfo Professional and ArcGIS. Previous employment within the planning departments of Dorset County Council and East Dorset District Council as GIS Project Manager has imparted a strong understanding of Local Authority work across large spatial areas in fields such as conservation, structure planning, and local plans.
Recent work for the Cranborne Chase and North Wessex Downs AONBs has meant that Protected Landscape work has become a large part of the business. This has recently included the production of an in-depth investigation into the Tranquillity of the Cranborne Chase AONB, development of a GIS model for ground truthing exercises and production of a high quality published report.
Emma Rouse MIfA (Associate)
Emma combines 10 years experience as a heritage professional with indepth knowledge of the use of GIS within protected and nationally important landscapes. A specialist in the use of historic characterisation and historic mapping; she has produced detailed reports and management plans on the cultural heritage of the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs and Tamar Valley AONBs.
She also has considerable expertise in the creation of new heritage datasets and the interpretation of existing data relating to both the natural and historic landscapes. Recently she has also provided expertise of the significance of heritage within planning contexts. She is currently working part time for the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs AONB on the implementation of Historic Environment Action Plans.
Emma Bell
Emma has worked in local government for over 20 years and has considerable project management experience including the management and implementation of central government information management strategies.
In recent years she has worked for a large national charity as the Head of Resources covering the charity’s financial, HR, payroll and ICT functions.
