Our specialist census mapping service can provide mapping based on any census variable. This includes the latest 2001 census, and Mid year population estimates.
Ordnance Survey Boundaryline
Boundary-Line is a specialist dataset of voting and administrative boundaries. The information is represented as vector digital data, and provides a full hierarchy of boundaries from district, wards and civil parishes (or communities) up to parliamentary, assembly and European constituencies. We are able to use these boundaries, normally Ward boundaries, to provide the geographical element to the census data, matching the raw data to the ward boundaries.
Ordnance Survey 1:250,000 map base
Our Ordnance Survey 1:250,000 (Road Atlas) scale base mapping provides an appropriate scale of basemapping for your census map. The map base combines roads, railways and other key features to make this the ideal cartographic backdrop for overlaying business information.
Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 map base
We are also able to license 1:50,000 scale mapping for your location should this be required. This map base provides clear details of roads, footpaths, woods, water features, important building and contour lines.
In all cases, you will be provided with the appropriate Ordnance Survey licensing to match your business need. Should you require Internet publishing, or printed material, we are able to provide the appropriate advice and costings to you.
What Census data is available?
We are able to apply a wide range of census data to ward base mapping. For a full breakdown of the census data available, please see the National Statistics website.
