Basic Package

The basic training package acts as an introduction to Mapinfo Professional, and is carried out on a one-to-one basis, or within a classroom environment. The course assumes no prior knowledge of GIS and is therefore ideal for newcomers to desktop mapping.

What the Training Covers:

• Best Practice Guidelines for usage of Mapinfo Professional in an office/networked environment
• The Mapinfo windows, toolbars and status bar
• Setting up new tables and database structure
• Setting up Workspaces
• How to find addresses using an address database
• Spatial analysis and querying
• Capturing GIS data - polygons, lines, points to a high degree of accuracy
• Printing maps to scale and layout production

Each training delegate will receive a training manual to use as a future reference, fully indexed to allow easy look up of keywords.

Pricing

• One-to-one training - £300.00 full day.

• Classroom training - £200.00 per delegate for full day course (minimum of three, up to ten people)
